Species Policy Offier Vacancy
Exciting Job in Ornithology. Species Policy Officer required by BirdWatch Ireland, the largest wildlife conservation organisation in Ireland, working to progress the conservation of wild birds and their habitat requirements, and actively involved in practical conservation work, policy development, research and education.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Job Title: Species Policy Officer
Duration of contract: 1 year (with likelihood of extension)
Location: BirdWatch Ireland Head Office at Newtownmountkennedy,
Co. Wicklow
Reporting to: Senior Conservation Officer - Policy and Advocacy
Likely Start Date: early November 2008
Interviews to be held: Wednesday 15th October 2008
Salary: €24,000 - 29,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
Leave: 20 days per annum pro rata and 9 public holidays
